16. Exactly what data are you accusing them of manipulating?

To best of my knowledge they spearfished John Podesta and maybe hacked the DNC server. I say may have because I don't know if they used the same spearfishing approach or an actual hack. But the leaked information while out of context, wasn't actually manipulated.

But in spite of that, Clinton was still ahead by 6 or more points up until the second Comey announcement 10 or so days before the election. After that Clinton's poll numbers dropped to about 2 points nationally over Trump, which is where she was on election day.

So I don't see a convincing claim that the Russian aspect had a major impact on the election. You can say it was wrong (and it was) but we have our own long history of interfering in other countries' elections and are using our own cyber attacks like Stuxnet against Iran.

I'm not saying it justifies Russia selectively hacking or spearfishing the DNC, but that I don't see any evidence it was relevant to the outcome of the election.
