2016 Postmortem

I work in the IT security industry and I can tell you how easy this is to stage.

Hack into a local Russian machine, use malware known to be tied to prior Russian hacking, then jump off to the DNC and install said malware and boom... instant framing. We saw the US use similar tactics in the Russian-Afghanistan war, when we purchased Russian weapons on the black market and fed them back to the rebels. I've learned long ago to not trust what any country's intelligence agency tells the public.

That said, I'm not saying they didn't hack the US... I'm sure they did at some point, but I can say with almost absolute certainty that it's impossible to validate this 100%. Everyone could be playing right into the hands of a Chinese or North Korean hacker or who knows what...
