We have this forum to express our opinions about the elections and, I suppose, about the Democratic party in general.

But I am called on jury duty practically every day just because someone expresses his opinion and does not hold back criticizing the party. We need to have the honesty and the courage to see not just what went wrong, but what we should do to, if not capture, at least reduce the majority in congress for 2018.

This is one thing that I miss from the old jury system - adding my comment. I rarely voted to hide and in most cases suggested to rebut. This is a discussion board where, in addition to expressing our opinions we should also be open to different ones, as long, of course, as they are in support of the Democratic party.

Yes, I understand the need to mourn, to weep. This is how I have been feeling. But for many it is just whining: we were cheated, rigged machines, Putin, etc. But we should be able to overcome it and fight it. Otherwise we will never win. Running home to mommy because someone stole our ball, even Dorothy Rodham told young Hillary to go back and face her tormentor(s).

So, please, if you don't like a post, please rebut. Hoping to hide a post will not help us in 2018 nor in 2020.

OK, I'll go
