2016 Postmortem

(or other Bernie supporters) demonizing Hillary. Just the opposite in fact. The problem has been the demonizing of the liberal base of the democratic party (who primarily supported Bernie).

In my attempts to convince others to vote for Hillary, I was bombarded with all the reasons why they wouldn't vote for her.

Take the hiring of DWS by the Clinton campaign as an example. The Bernie supporters knew for months that the game was rigged. The press was rigged. The debates, the databases, everything. They endured terrible accusations of being sore losers and conspiracy theorists. They were called Bernie Bros and derided in demeaning ways. Then the emails were released, and the collusion between the Hillary camp, the DNC and the media was fully exposed, justifying the accusations made by Bernie supporters. The scandal was so big, DWS (and other top DNC brass) had to resign. Within moments of her resignation, Clinton hired her for her campaign. In that moment, I looked at my friends who were with me and said, "Holy shit! What the fuck is she thinking?? She just lost the election!" The tone-deafness, the insensitivity toward Bernie-loving democrats was fatal to her campaign.

You can deny that. You can blame Bernie and his crowd all you want. But guess what? She lost. And I'm pretty mad about it because now we are stuck with Donald fucking Trump. So don't go blaming BERNIE and his supporters!
