6. I have acquaintances; I can't truly name friends; well, maybe one.

There is a huge list of acquaintances and coworkers I get along with very well. I never make compromises or absolute meet ups with them.
Immediate family very small, no offspring from us so we are the last of the immediate family line. Very rarely do I see the two siblings.
In my homestead area (where my cats live )and where I spend the majority of my off time) there really is no one I go visit. I have crappy neighbors and one really mean neighbor, but one actually gives me eggs although she offers eggs; she is always mad at something and acts like I bother her. But she does offer eggs, albeit reluctantly. At times I buy a bag of worms for her flock. I never go in her house and viceversa.
I go to the gym, shopping, all quick trips. Always smiling and joking when I do. More acquaintances. No compromises.
It is a peaceful life; I used to have expectations of others somewhat, and it ended up being more of a hassle and disruption and to be honest, uncomfortable.
In the past couple of years one friend (used to be an acquaintance /coworker} so I guess it boils down to one friend, we like to take days off together and travel international and go party and join dance masquerades for a couple of days a year. We hang out, have some wine or beer, dinners, breakfast. I really like music and dancing for two days or so then thats it.
I love waking up alone and drinking coffee alone as well.
