It is too late when you are dead and called to judgment- said judgment based on what you dished out to others. You CAN pray for the living. Again, this is Trump thinking HIS people praying for him is something he can lean on to avoid repentance, reform or Judgment- if he is affected by any of these things.

Every old person can be affected by that empty contemplation of approaching death, regardless of faith. You put off your nightmare by projecting it on others, casting yourself in good toward others, frantic distraction or some phony peace of mind. Real death comes generally as a surprise. The afterlife is no concern of yours but of a God who you can only hope exists- or hope very much doesn't.

In any event, it is best to love everyone else and our fragile world- and be busy about it. That seems to dissipate self-fear and other-hatred well enough. Supposedly, this is the base behavior the Biblical God cares about more than tongue belief and ritual.

Trump, you are running out of time like the last sands in an hourglass. But time enough to change! It would be the most spectacular and positive thing he can point to in his entire life. His only unique achievement, his only chance at all. Does he care or is he just running from fear like an animal?
