Loved Island.

And I do not have to like an author's ideology in all respects to enjoy the author's writing.
I don't approve of his some time role as a drug guru.
Still, his The Doors of Perception is worth reading.

There are folks with much worse ideologies who are worth reading.
Evelyn Waugh for example, who was a big fan of General Franco.
