He was a programmer and engineer and he writes about AI and technology. He describes in some
detail the computer issues involved in trying to solve the RNA folding problem. He also exhibits real ignorance of basic biology. It could be a significant advancement but all the computer power in the world could not solve how an RNA folds into a protein because it never happens.
