I just read your add-on, Islam encouraging people to think. In the Gospels, Jesus often says that his message is for those who have the eyes to see, the ears to hear. Obviously...except to modern Christians/literalists...the message was to scratch around beneath the surface! Too bad so many people mess up perfectly good spiritual messaging!
