unless you'd like to walk around etc Capitol Hill. Library of Congress?
Was going to suggest hanging in Georgetown. Lots of restaurants. Looks like it will be around 90 degrees, so not exactly sauntering weather, and you'd have to take a taxi or find a bus.
Pick museums you're particularly interested in?
Check movies at Union Station? The building itself is gorgeous, there are restaurants and shops, and its on Metro.
