I remember how happy I was when NBC Sports won EPL rights. Now, it seems like a textbook case of "unintended consequences" -- NBC's win meant the end of Fox Soccer Channel so, instead of having a whole network devoted to soccer 24/7, showing EPL and Serie A and replaying games throughout the week, we get early weekend morning broadcasts of a handful of EPL games (not done very well), and nothing else. No chance to view a replay (for those of us on the west coast who now have to get up at 5 A.M. for some matches), no continental leagues, nothing at all for most of the week. Such a deal.
