Dallas did well to get the score they needed to go ahead. They couldn't get too cute with the clock; there's no guarantee they move down the field score with conservative clock-eating play calls. The Dallas go-ahead FG happened with 3:59 left; Seattle scored with 1:47 remaining and two timeouts in hand. Three running plays' worth of clock burn would still have given Seattle the ball back with enough time to do something. If Seattle had vaguely similar offensive success in your scenario, they still likely would at least have had a shot to kick a game-winning FG as time expires, if not the TD they actually scored.
