the incident was not just buried in the ESPN web site story, it has never been discussed, as far as I've seen or heard in any of the cable or network coverage of the Kareem Hunt story. And I'm a big sports fan and watch ESPN, ESPN2 everyday, not to mention CNN, MSNBC and other networks.
I had to go to their website to find out what set Hunt off, and like I mentioned, the n-word incident was buried deep into the story.
I wondered all along what precipitated the incident? Were the two a couple who quarreled as in the Ray Rice incident, was it over money or some other dispute?
Nothing was mentioned in the coverage. It was like the journalists who covered the story purposely left out the last W of the five Ws of journalismwho, what, when, where and why.
Curious, had you heard of the victim's use of the n-word which undoubtedly contributed to what happened? And isn't it curious that the victim didn't want to press charges. Is it because she knew she wasn't entirely without fault in enflaming a tense situation?
