Held Minnesota (and HOF quarterback Fran Tarkenton) to 17 yards rushing, 117 total yards, and 6 points. The Steelers defense actually allowed no points, the Vikings recovered a blocked punt in the end zone for their only points. Tarkenton also caught a pass that was batted back by a Steeler defender, resulting in a completion to himself for negative yardage.
The Steel Curtain, all young and healthy and at the top of their game. Their performance was as good as it gets.
