Erik Larson is one of my favorite writers, and I've had the wonderful experience of seeing him at book events, one for "Isaac's Storm" -- amazing book and if you haven't read it yet add it to your reading pile immediately -- and "The Devil in the White City".

He is wonderful on book tour. Go see him if you can.
