Stoicism [View all]

I just got a book out of my Public Library on Marcus Aurelius and his Stoicism. I do find some peace and solace through reading. I read a decent amount of history and it helps sometimes. People have been through some very difficult times in history but oftentimes humanity prevails. Look at what happened when the Imperial Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. The Pacific Fleet was wiped out. That could have been the beginning of the end for us if we were defeatist. But we weren't and we rose to meet the threat of fascism. Anyway I do get some solace from a good read, and it gives me a break from all of the difficult news. What are you reading to keep your head above water? I hope that you have a good book. Maybe let us know what you are reading in the comments. I am going to read about Stoicism.
