RIP. I try to always read something by an author who passes, out of some respect I guess. My local sad little library only had 2 of her prolific writings. And both in large print. I've read some large print books before and they seem to have a lot of typos, but I have no proof of that.

Anyways, I'm reading Live Flesh. Speaking of creepy. She really gets into the psycho's head. Good place descriptions. I can see them in my mind.

I expect I'll finish that one in a few days so I also got Spirit of Steamboat, a Walt Longmire story by Craig Johnson that just recently arrived. I read all the Longmire mysteries last fall and really enjoyed them, in spite of not really being a fan of Westerns. They changed my mind about that, somewhat. And that is a foreshadowing of a book I hope to be receiving soon that has been on my must read list for many years.

Meanwhile, reading all the posts here, my must read list just keeps growing. Thank you all for sharing.
