Started reading Grafton's alphabet detective novels in 2014. "Mavis" was donating her book club books to the lending library at the local senior center. "Mavis" donated the middle of the alphabet.

I was bored for something easy to read after ignoring Grafton for years. Ended up searching out reading copies of the early alphabet and other skips. I actually bought "Y" in hardback new at Costco and looked forward to the now never to be "Z".

Great entertaining writer that grew as an artist.
