Snip-"Army Pfc. St. Clair M. Gibson, 30,"

snip-"In September 1943, Gibson was assigned Company F, 2nd Battalion, 371st Infantry Regiment, 92d Infantry Division. He was reported missing in action on Nov. 18, 1944, after a battle in the northern Apennine Mountains near Seravezza, Italy. His remains were not recovered following the war."

His family chased those details for 80 years.
