1. I worked on HUD flood relief in 1972-1973 (hurricane Agnes)

I remember the trailers were offered for sale to the families that occupied them. Some were in them for a couple years or more. I have no idea if any families bought them or the suggested price. The unsold ones would be shipped somewhere supposedly for storage. I was a temp HUD employee. It looked like lots of money was made by private contractors.
