"NEW YORK – Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, a part of Everytown, released the following statement today after news reports that more than 50 people were killed and more than 400 were hospitalized after a shooting at a concert on the Las Vegas Strip. This is at least the 8th mass shooting, in which four or more people were shot and killed, nationwide this year, and the 162nd mass shooting since 2009.
