I thought to myself this is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard anyone say. You don't have to lock it up? Your kid won't get hurt or possibly killed if he shoots himself? Your child won't hurt or possibly kill a sibling? I am NOT anti gun because I own one, but someone would have to be stupid to leave this weapon or any other weapon lying around or in an unlocked drawer where their kid can get to it.
