the LGBTQ community must do it themselves and get out in front of the news outlets in very visible ways and be vocal. If that takes marches, visits to their elected representatives locally or in D.C. - that's what will have to be done.

This community can't rely on the MSM to do it for them. Especially now with the Repugs in the power position.
