17 + years old used to invite me to go hunting with them and BTW could I bring my dog too. After a
while I realized that it was my dog they wanted. Pheasants, upland game birds, and waterfowl my dog
would point them out and or bring them back. They gave me a .410 single shot shotgun and I am pretty
sure that I never hit any bird but they acted like I did.

I have loved retrievers ever since. We had a little lake, a woods behind our house, and access to canoe
my golden would swim and then sleep in the canoe as I fished.

When he passed @ 13 it was tough on me. Enjoy your dog.
