Dear friends, can you give me some guidance? [View all]

Between my house and that of my neighbor there is an area that grows not much but weeds. Every year, I tackle them with a solution to kill the weeds. Last yer I paid a young man to help me spread the fabric weed barrier on the area plus adding 7 big buckets of crushed stone. Still weeds. My fault in one part, we did not overlap the fabric, just butted it up. Well, I have a ton lots of weeds again and it is time to go out with my solution to kill them:
In 2 gallon sprayer,
1 Gallon vinegar,
1 Cup salt
2 Tablespoons Dawn dish soap.

My question of the day, since I have not enough of table salt now, can I dissolve Kosher salt as a substitute for the table salt? I could dissolve the Kosher salt in the vinegar before finishing with the rest of the water and the soap. I know this solution is safe, my question is about the Kosher salt. Saves me a long trip to a store for a container of salt if this would work.
The weather is finally drying out so I'm ready to tackle this job. (again).
Any advice would be appreciated.spraying the area.
