Started early this morning making salads. They can be so time consuming. Eventually by around 11, I had one ready to go.

Red tip lettuce, baby romaine, a little curly mustard, apple slices, home grown celery, fennel slices, toasted walnuts and homemade vinaigrette.

Followed up by an herbal version of "coffee." Really does taste like coffee, and I put half 'n half in it and had cocoa biscotti.

This will double as lunch.

I dread my afternoon. Usually I love what I do every day (garden!!) but today I have to put together a dressy clothes ensemble for a "gala" dinner tomorrow night at the college. I really hate dressing up.
