I couldn't make it through the crust (sigh). I noticed today at the store, tho, they've now got the pizzas in "bowls"... everything but the crust. I'm gonna check one of those out next payday.
We turned really cool and rainy today. Knowing I'd be at the doc's office all afternoon today, I made a nice pot of chili last night for supper, thinking we'd have the leftovers tonight. Knocked my socks off... it was an EXCELLENT pot of chili! So good, in fact, there's not enough for a repeat tonight. So... to the store for a bit more burger and beans and greens to add to it to make it enough. I hope this bodes well for my soup making this winter!
I desperately want a good, spicy, flavorful black bean soup recipe. I've gathered a few together and hope to try some out as the weather cools. There's nothing like a good bowl of soup on a cold day! If anyone has a recipe they really like, I'm sure open for all suggestions! Also doing the same with tomato soup... My goal is to become a great soup maker by the time I turn 70 next Feb. Secrets and hints and wild suggestions are welcome!
