Soak the corn in water for 30 minutes prior to cooking. It really helps steam the corn and loosen the corn hair.

Cook the corn for the recommended time then cut the stalk off an inch above the fat end using a thick knife. Using a towel or hot mitts, squeeze the skinny end and the corn will slide out without the corn hair.
