7. I didn't even know there were different types. We only got them at the school cafeteria.

My dad was a meat purist -- steaks or roasts, preferably on the grill, and never cooked more than medium rare. Even A1*, Worcester and Heinz 57 were considered blasphemous. He would have eaten sirloin, baked potato, and tossed salad every night if Mother had consented.

After I moved out, I never had a steak again. I like my food with sauces and spices, and from all different cultures, mostly meatless. Obviously, there's a little bit of protest there, but I really do like variety and spice.

I do enjoy a Sloppy Jack, though -- brined, green jackfruit sauteed with barbecue sauce. Trader Joe's provides one recipe, you don't have to follow all the details -- it's pretty foolproof: https://traderjoesrants.com/2022/07/12/trader-joes-green-jackfruit-canned-in-brine-and-a-recipe-for-pulled-bbq-jackfruit-sliders/ There are plenty of variations online.

Trader Joe's has tons of suggestions for real-meat sloppy joes, as well: https://www.google.com/search?q=trader+joe+sloppy+jack+sandwich+recipe&udm=14
