Is there a difference between Pad Thai [View all]

and peanut butter chicken?

I wanted to have something different and got a Pad Thai kit, and a jar of Pad Thai paste. I have made Chinese buffet style peanut butter chicken and I have the ingredients I usually use in that. I looked at the directions on the kit, and except for scrambling an egg to mix in, it seems a lot like peanut butter chicken.

I've had home-cooked Chinese a couple of times, a long time ago. I mostly get Chinese food from a buffet. I'm not sure what I'm going to prepare, but I appreciate any tips before I get started.

Thank you!
