When I started seeing my current wife my MIL did thanksgiving dinner and another good sized one the next day. After 2 years I was helping with Thanksgiving and doing the next day dinner. Then I was doing both dinners with her helpng for Thanksgiving and finally I had he job full-time. It can be work to do dinner for 5. And she has a chef...
