I started Weight Watchers at 337. I am now 287. I hope to get into the 260s by spring so that I can start effectively biking in hopes of doing a 100-mile ride in August. Mid-June goal would be 257. I think that is ambitious and may not be achieved, but it is what I'm shooting for. It would be nice to be down 80 pounds in one year.

A key for me seems to be getting in enough exercise--serious exercise--every week.
