Is anyone else feeling particularly down today? [View all]

I am. I am finding it more interesting than emotional, because nothing has happened to specifically make me more depressed and anxious than I normally am, but it is happening.

Is it the fact that today is a day of social celebration and I have absolutely no one to celebrate with? And, no way to get there if I could?

Is it the state of the nation on a day like today? The reminder that the country we grew up in is no more and such a thing should not be celebrated? (I find that the current socio-economic state does not make me depressed. It makes me very angry. My inability to do anything about it is what I find depressing.)

I am not sure, so I wanted to inquire. Is anyone else feeling it today? Do you think it is because of the national state of things on such a day, or is it something more personal that has just chosen to day to manifest?
