Nothing quite like dreaming you are having a severe anxiety attack and wake up to find you ARE [View all]

That was my morning. After I fed the kid cats, at about 5:55, I crawled back in to bed and fell asleep for almost exactly one hour. During that one hour, the dream hit. Very complicated, as dreams are, but it involved me just wanting to be left alone but my best friend was trying so hard to find out what happened. When I finally WAS alone, with people knocking at my door, I started walking around the room, tripping over almost everything, looking for thigs that had just disappeared, almost in front of my eyes. And I was CRYING so hard.

I jolted awake, drenched in sweat, and felt very unsettled for most of the morning. I waited to take a 'chill pill' until after I mowed the yard, and then spent some time sitting beneath the branches of the Air Conditioned Maple Tree. It took about an hour for me to feel somewhat settled.

Now, I had a therapy appointment yesterday but it was a good one. My niece too me on an 'adventure' and my brother and his SO stopped by to visit. I took my sleep medicine and drifted off pretty quickly. Nothing about yesterday should have triggered that nightmare.

It feels like as soon as I start feeling centered, my subconscious burps up another noxious dream.
