10. Amen -- closed captions are a blessing

I have a "profound" hearing loss and qualify for a Cochlear implant. I cannot watch TV or a movie unless they are closed captioned.

Just because one is hearing impaired, it does not mean we should be cut off from events that can be made accessible to us. I know of people with "good" hearing who use CC on their TVs because sometimes it is difficult to understand what someone is saying.
