It's a supplement that restores the healthy bacteria in your gut. It works much better than acidophillis. I used it when I had chronic diarrhea after taking antibiotics for 2 weeks. You can buy it at Walgreens or most any large drug store. You can also take magnesium oxide supplements. The magnesium doesn't absorb well so it pulls water into your gut. A person with regular BM's has to be careful not to take too much because it will cause loose stools.

Supplements with "bifido" bacteria are good as well. They're certainly worth trying before getting a fecal transplant.
