Tuesday

I have had loss of jaw bone, repeated blistering, inability to chew and swallow, and my neck skin still peels about every 6 months. To say nothing of my tongue not being able to prounce Spanish words.
Radiation is the gift that keeps on giving.
I was very depressed about my condition after treatment for around a year. It was embarrassing to attempt to eat and to have to sip water every few minutes in order to speak.
Gradually things improved. Took a long time, So.just hang in there. Find a support group and attend meetings if you can. I found other survivors understand best and know how to help.
