Unfortunately, dogs can be infected, but mink are apparently most commonly, along with wolves & coyotes. But, like RFK Jr's neurocysticercosis (brain worm), people eating undercooked fish and frogs can get the kidney worm. RFK got his brain worm from undercooked pork (most likely).

But you won't convince him of anything. The kidney worm, though, would be a very painful experience, so eat that raw freshwater fish, Bobby JR.
