When one's priorities are put in the correct order, everything else falls into place, morally speaking.

If a woman doesn't want a lot of children, she has a right to decide for herself. As Melinda pointed out, men in African countries generally like to have a lot of children. The problem is, the women's chances of getting contraceptives is a hit & miss situation. Many women have to walk miles to get them, but they are available only sporadically.
