never read any of the books myself. i read a lot of things, especially online; but, perhaps ironically, i don't enjoy reading actual books.

we had many, many interesting discussions on the content and ideas in those books, though. unfortunately, that means i learned more about the concepts than about the authors....

i did a little googling and admit it's not easy to separate the academic stuff from the pop-culture stuff, or even the anti-romance myth stuff from the pro-romance myth stuff....
