"It's a permanent reminder of a temporary situation"

Now, it's like the conversation never comes up and IMNSHO, keeps the woman as a perpetual victim. Why anyone whatsoever would have their rapist's child is beyond me. The rapists' DNA is now a part of the child's gene pool - why that bring that into the child's life? I know I sure wouldn't want to. After the child finds out, then they too become victimized for the rest of their lives.

The conversation needs be turned around.
