1. Here in Spain, tomorrow is a mass strike for women.

On March 8 the women of Spain will take part in the first national strike to combat wage inequality and gender violence. For 24 hours, women are being called on to drop everything—from briefcases to brooms—and take to the streets and protest.

Interestingly my wife's work place have said that yes, you can go on strike but if you do it will classed as one of your allowed "days off" for the year.
I can't see much getting done tomorrow. lol

To their credit they are a public institution and do pay equal but such a decision is very typical for the Spanish work place, Even I notice that as a Man people automatically talk to me like my wife doesn't exist when she is the one asking the question. Just wanted to share.
