AG of MO lost a lawsuit against a suburban school district of KC recently. When he was still AG last year, he brought a lawsuit against multiple districts saying they had no right to require children to wear face masks. One district then filed a lawsuit against Schmitt saying he had no right to tell them what to do. School district ended up winning a few days ago. Schmitt after winning the senate seat wanted to drop the lawsuits, but this one district refused. They wanted to set a precedent that the AG could not tell a school district what they couldn’t do in a health crisis like Covid.
Unfortunately last year he ran for the Senate and won.
