4. I think they mean for this Russian unit not the whole war.

But, Russia has many more troops in reserve and while they can send more the Russian public is growing tired of the losses and Russia doesn't have the resources to replace the weapons, vehicles, equipment, fuel, and ammo that also keeps getting destroyed not just on the battlefield but also within Russia so the supply chain to mount more operations is also being broken.

Ukraine's NATO Allies should stir up activity in Kazakhstan, Chechnya, and Georgia to distract attention away from Ukraine reducing the resources Russia can apply to Ukraine. The sooner Ukraine expels Russian forces, the sooner the bloodshed ends.
