The largest aircraft engine company in the world is CFM International, which is a 50/50 venture between French and US companies. Some of the engines are built in the US, and some in France. The engines used by the Chinese company are built in France (Safran Aircraft Engines).
Unless he can control what that company does in France, China will continue to get their engines from them.
