Seriously, I wonder what would have happened if they had taken him out? At the very least, there would surely have been a mad scramble in Moscow as various oligarchs fought to take his place.
Oh well, maybe they'll get him next time. We can always hope! In the meantime, I'd definitely be on board with having dual "Is he dead yet?" threads until at least one of them is gone!
