In this video I talk about the £30 Billion Black Hole that is now forecast to exist in UK Government Finances. The Budget that the new government presented in October 2024 was based on forecast GDP and debt figures calculated by the UK Office for Budget Responsibility. However despite the fact that those figures are only 4 months old they are already seriously outdated and the forecasts now look highly optimistic and leave the UK government with a £30 Billion shortfall which could get worse if things don't improve rapidly.
