3. A couple of years ago, I visited some friends living on a reservation in Washington state.

They had a toilet in their cabin that was basically a tub filled with sawdust. They emptied it directly into their compost pile.

All I can say is that their garden was amazing! FWIW, there was really no objectionable odor.

Which is more than I can say about my boat when the tank is getting full and the weather warm, lol.
