I'm not sure how energy efficient it is, but I've taken advantage of good deals on Triscuits in bulk (Amazon's price is way too high right now), coffee, nutritional yeast, and other dry food. The shipping is fast and free (if you have a PRIME account). I've never received anything I was dissatisfied with. That said, I've pretty much stopped because of the excessive packaging.
