- plastics technology which has been developed over the past couple decades ( internet search it for more details). Why don't we see any products on the market? Oil industry lobbying - most plastics we use are made from petroleum refining by products - and or American style predatory "capitalism" , which refuses to invest in any ecologically sound technology and usually works against that development.
